Rob Meyer-Kukan – Sound Baths, Singing Bowls and Intention
This week, we had an uplifting time talking with Ann Arbor-based educator, musician and multi-disciplinary therapist Rob Meyer-Kukan. Rob is the owner at 7 Notes Natural Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he applies his extensive skill set and anatomical background to help people to hear, see, and feel true wellness through work with the body. He began his practice in 2015 as the Healthy Musician Institute, LLC, serving musicians and performing artists with repetitive strain injuries.
Among his many talents, Rob teaches piano, is a licensed massage therapist, sound therapist, a level III trained Reiki Practitioner and Teacher, and a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator. He is also currently studying naturopathy with plans to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Rob is very attuned to the power of sound vibration, entrainment and frequency, especially in encouraging balanced, natural health, and in the collective work of intention and healing (he is an advocate of pioneering sound therapist Jonathan Goldman’s principle that Frequency + Intent = Healing). We talk especially about the effects of sound baths and sound healing, as well as the connecting power of sound for individuals and like-minded (or perhaps we should say, like-hearted) communities.

Taking a good news story this week that we’ll look at later, CO2 emissions in the EU dramatically fell last year, but still need to fall further to meet the bloc’s COP Climate commitment.
We will that all who have influence within EU nations will continue to be open to, be guided by, and promote actions and policies that help reduce their nation’s CO2 emissions.
