This week, we had an uplifting time talking with Ann Arbor-based educator, musician and multi-disciplinary therapist Rob Meyer-Kukan. Rob is the owner at 7 Notes Natural Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he applies his extensive skill set and anatomical background to help people to hear, see, and feel true wellness through work with the body. He began his practice in 2015 as the Healthy Musician Institute, LLC, serving musicians and performing artists with repetitive strain injuries. 
Among his many talents, Rob teaches piano, is a licensed massage therapist, sound therapist, a level III trained Reiki Practitioner and Teacher, and a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator. He is also currently studying naturopathy with plans to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Rob’s offers sound baths, workshops, classes and more (see below for details of upcoming workshops and for a link to Rob’s YouTube Channel, which offers opportunities to experience a sound bath over the miles). 
Rob is very attuned to the power of sound vibration, entrainment and frequency, especially in encouraging balanced, natural health, and in the collective work of intention and healing (he is an advocate of pioneering sound therapist Jonathan Goldman’s principle that Frequency + Intent = Healing). We talk especially about the effects of sound baths and sound healing, as well as the connecting power of sound for individuals and like-minded (or perhaps we should say, like-hearted) communities.

This week, we’re thrilled to talk to visionary physicist David Ash, whose baptism into the world of quantum physics came at the tender age of 6! David’s groundbreaking work has been presented at the Royal Institution in London, and been presented to non-academic audiences through a prolific writing and lecture career that has seen have travel the world. His many books include Myths in Modern Physics, Continuous Living in a Living Universe, and The Vortex Theory – A Bridge Between Ancient Yoga, and Modern Physics.  
We chat about how David’s theories bridge the gap between science and spirituality, and among many other things, chew the fat on the nature of energy, the idea that we are one consciousness, and why even though everything is energy, it still hurts when we stub our toe! David’s imaginative analogies and down-to-earth language make even some hard concepts in science easy to understand.

This week, we talk to Chris Katzenmeyer, Director of the Legacy Labyrinth Project, a former board member of Veriditas, and a pioneer in the field of applying intention through contemplative practice. Drawing on Chris’s rich knowledge, intuition, and experience, we receive a wonderful 101 grounding in the basics of intention, while learning about the real effects of holding intention in groups and the transcendent experience that may be felt through this work, which Chris has frequently witnessed first-hand. 
Chris talks about learnings from newly published research into holding intention together that she co-authored, including a surprising outpouring of compassion for action that arose when 800 people came together globally on the same day to hold the same intention. We also discuss the challenges involved with setting intentions that come from the heart rather than head, and the energy of feeling into connection with others. 
We also take a close look at the impact of Artificial Intelligence on humanity, as a need for regulation becomes high on the agenda for many governments. We consider the risks, ethical questions about allowing machines to take decisions and launch acts, and potential benefits of AI at a time that some commentators have called a new industrial revolution.
